Recruits

Currently enrolled at the University of San Francisco in the School of Nursing and Health Professions.

Minimum grade point average of 2.8.

Cannot exceed Sophomore 2 standing (currently a Freshman 1, Freshman 2, Sophomore 1, or Sophomore 2).

Identify as female.

Attend at least 5 out of the 9 recruitment events (Info Night #1, Info Night #2, Speed Dating #1, Craft Night, Tea, Picnic, Speed Dating #2, Game Night, & Speed Dating #3). 1 out of the 5 required recruitment events must be a Speed Dating.

Complete the Recruitment Application.

Recruits are not allowed to participate in Panhellenic sorority recruitment, if they intend to join Tri Gamma recruitment. However, recruits are welcome to join other nursing and non-nursing organizations.
Pledges
If a recruit is offered a bid and they choose to accept, the recruit will become a pledge and must fulfill the Fall semester obligations listed below:

Attend 4 scheduled meetings during pledging season. Pledges are allotted 1 excused and 1 unexcused absence.

Participate in at least 3 out of 5 pledge events (Ice Cream, Pizza, Cooking Challenge, Sleepover, and Fire & Ice). 2 out of the 3 required events must be Sleepover and Fire & Ice.

Pay dues each semester.

Participate in the Annual Lung Health Fair.

Participate in Initiation.

In the following Spring semester, pledges will fulfill the same requirements as sisters.
Sisters
-
Attend 2 scheduled meetings each month. Sisters are allotted 2 excused and 1 unexcused absence per semester.

Participate in at least 4 social events every semester.

In the Fall semester, if a sister is interested in picking up a little, participate in at least 5 out of 9 recruitment events and 3 out of 5 pledge events. If a sister is not picking up a little, participate in at least 4 out of 9 recruitment events and 2 out of 5 pledge events.

Fulfill 4 hours of community service every semester.

Participate in at least 2 fundraising events every semester.

Complete 2 hours of decor assistance every semester.

Pay dues each semester.

Participate in the Annual Lung Health Fair and Fashion Show.

A sister will be allowed one semester to declare an inactive status for academic purposes.

Sisters must be active the semester after their initiation and the last semester of their senior year, unless receiving an excuse from the Executive Board.

If a sister does not fulfill the requirements listed above, she will receive a demerit. Sisters are alloted 3 demerits in total during their entire time in Tri Gamma. Upon receiving their fourth demerit, the sister will be asked to withdraw from the society.
